This self-defense workshop is designed to help people of all backgrounds, sizes, and levels of physical fitness to develop the skills they need to escape from violent attackers. The class covers precautions for avoiding dangerous situations, the use of personal alarms, common attack approaches used by criminals, and the most effective methods for quickly incapacitating attackers. The training system has been refined over three decades to maximize efficiency, ease of learning and application, and long-term retention. While the situations addressed in the class are very serious, the learning atmosphere is safe, relaxed, inclusive, and fun.
